Sports & Territories Forum
“A post-2024 legacy to meet the challenges of ecological transition”
Sports et Territoires, in partnership with sports professional networks, is working to build the post-2024 legacy by organising this forum at the Salon des Sports, including a round table and 4 conferences on high-stakes issues.
Making a success of the legacy of the Olympic and Paralympic Games is a challenge that we must take up collectively by taking into account the evolution of our societies in terms of the ecological transition, the evolution of practices, public health, the controlled development of sports tourism and the operational implementation of sports governance.
Come and see us at the Salon des Sports et Parasports, Hall 6, Room 614 from 21 to 23 November!
The aim of this forum is to bring together the views of several networks of sports professionals on these issues and to suggest avenues for reflection in support of practical solutions.

GOVERNANCE AND EVENTS
What kind of proximity, cross-functionality and expertise?
Wednesday 22 November: 9H30 – 11H00
The new governance of sport is now in place, with a National Sports Agency, Regional Sports Conferences and Regional Funding Conferences. This will enable the various players to work in synergy.
The challenge now is to make these bodies work on an operational level, to facilitate and increase the number of partnerships, and to make all local sports stakeholders aware of the benefits and added value they offer.
The example of major sporting events is a first indication of the capacity of this governance to respond to the challenges of cooperation between players, to optimise the impact of such operations on the practice of sport for the greatest number of people, but also in terms of the attractiveness of the region.
